Lesson 1 : Cardboard Boat Challenge
The goal of the Cardboard Boat Challenge is to design and build a boat from cardboard and tape that can float and support weight in water
Age range:
P4-P7.

Time Required:
Approx. 1.5 hours

Materials Needed:
Thin Cardboard (Approx. 30cm x 30cm Per student)
Duck tape & Scissors
Water source (e.g., a large tub of water)
Weights to test the boats

Lesson 2 : Bulkheads
The goal of the Bulkhead Experiment is to help students understand the importance of bulkheads by sinking a model ship with varying bulkhead designs.
Age range:
P5-P7.

Time Required:
Approx. 1.5 hours

3D print of cargo vessel STL bulkheads and plugs.
Weights.
Water source (e.g., a large tub of water)
